COPYING / TRANSCRIPTION

Original sound can copy to/from most standard audio format including

  • half-track mono/stereo (speeds from 3¾ ips - 30 ips)
  • quarter-track mono/stereo (speeds from 1-7/8 - 7½ ips)
  • noise reduction: Dolby A/SR/DBX type-2
• vinyl/acetate disc (singles/EPs/LPs (at 16/33/45/78 rpm)
• compact cassette
  • noise reduction: Dolby B/C/S
    
    In the case of domestic recordings made on domestic formats such as
    quarter-track tape or cassette the results can be highly unpredictable
