For best results I suggest using uncompressed WAV files. They may take longer to send and receive but they will preserve the quality of your recording.

A lot is talked about data compression (not to be confused with audio dynamics compression) and, of course mp3 compression is used extensively for music delivery to end-users but at earlier stages in production mp3 should really be avoided.

Finally, unless you're absolutely sure a,bout the quality of your own equipment I strongly suggest that you don't apply overall dynamic compression or limiting to your mix. You may feel it needs it, and you may well be right, in which case I suggest you send an mp3 file of your compressed version to illustrate what you think, but send the uncompressed version for me to work on.
